NYPAP
and journalist Roberta Gratz have received a grant from the Kress
Foundation to archive Ms. Gratz’s extensive writing on the
historic preservation movement in New York City. Marianne Percival
was hired to create a database of all Ms. Gratz’s articles,
which she completed in February 2003. Ms. Percival also compiled
copies of the articles into a notebook in chronological order.
NYPAP will provide public access to the database through its website
and we intend, copyrights permitting, to scan the articles and
provide PDF files as part of the Gratz Database. In addition, access
is available to the database and notebook at the NYPAP office.
