Brad Vogel
Brad Vogel served on the Archive Project board from 2012 until 2018, as Vice Chair from 2015-2017, before starting as Executive Director in 2018. Vogel served as the Ed Majkrzak Historic Preservation Fellow with the National Trust for Historic Preservation in post-Katrina New Orleans; he was named Louisiana Preservationist of the Year in 2011. A graduate of Tulane Law School, Vogel also practiced as an attorney in New York City for over six years. A published poet, he currently serves on the board of the Walt Whitman Initiative and organizes several poetry events. Vogel captains the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club and serves on the international board of the Circumnavigators Club.
