Join NYPAP’s founder Anthony C. Wood for a look at the life and legacy of preservationist Halina Rosenthal, whose preservation efforts profoundly influenced the fate of the Upper East Side. Wood will be joined by several figures who knew Rosenthal and her work well – Laurie Beckelman, Rita Chu, Britt Densmore, and John Weiss. Described as “the consummate activist”, Rosenthal advocated for the creation of the Upper East Side Historic District and was instrumental in the founding of the Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts.
